Hi, my name is Michele C. and this is my dreams and visions blog. Writing has always been my greatest passion, so I decided to challenge my skills through blogging about something that has, indeed, been short changed in the church world for many years. Dreams and Visions are often looked at as a comical or indirect way for our mind to empty out or sort through the different levels of the day. This can happen, and sometimes we do need a thorough washing of our mind through an outrageous dream; however, more times than not, I believe, that the LORD uses dreams to bypass our subconscious and dig deep into the heart of the matter. The book of Job states that He uses this method to go to the heart of man and seal his instructions. The Lord speaks in multitudes of ways. If you don’t believe that then I’m sorry for you because I worship and serve an all seeing, all knowing Lord who desires to commune with me on a daily basis. He is, in fact, my best friend. I seek Him for my guidance,to understand situations, and to find out the secret illusive visions and dreams of the night. I don’t want to miss out when He speaks so I have learned to listen wherever and whenever He chooses to talk to me.
I believe this blog will be a place to refresh one’s heart, mind, and spirit. It will be a place where you can dig into the depths of your own heart and mind. What is the Lord speaking to you? What has He shown you lately through those night parables that continue to plague you while you sleep.
Have you ever dreamed of being the age you are in your old childhood home? Have you ever dreamed that you were falling off of a mountain or building? These are all dreams that the Lord wants to use to teach us, inspire us, and lead, guide, and direct us. The key to understanding is to first learn. The Bible says to study to show thyself approved. Learn, absorb, and most of all seek His face. For without God nothing can be uncovered. He is the secret keeper, and the Word says that He gives wisdom to the wise. His voice is crying out for a generation to open their spiritual eyes and ears and get ready to hear His instructions. I don’t know about you, but that is what my heart truly desires.
Just a quick bio on myself: I am married with three children. I am a homeschool mom (my oldest is 18 now!). I decided to go to college in my mid thirties, and I graduated last year with a BA in English and a minor in Spanish. I am currently working on my MA in English, and I am thrilled about the new pathways I embarking upon. I have been involved with ministry for almost twenty years. I have taught numerous classes on understanding dreams and visions and hearing the voice of God.
Thank you for checking out my blog and being patient as I upgrade and tweak it along the way. As I said earlier, this is my first attempt at blogging so I still have tons to learn about this technological craft. I look forward to hearing your thoughts, comments and feedback on stories.
